The Mack MP Engine Series is the ultimate power-to-weight engine platform. It delivers phenomenal low-end torque and all the power you need. So if you want power without the added weight, you want a Mack MP engine.
This engine series comes in two forms:
MP8 from 435- 535 Horse Power – Available in Granite & Trident models.
MP10 from 600 – 685 Horse Power – Available in Super-Liner & Titan models

Mack PowerLeash
The Mack PowerLeash engine brake provides more braking horsepower through mid-RPM ranges, and weighs less than other comparable engine brakes. It is fully integrated with the MP Engine Series, and with better braking over the entire speed range, PowerLeash delivers the most retarding horsepower ever in a Mack engine brake.
Accessibility
The MP Engine Series installation allows for hassle-free maintenance as daily checkpoints can be accessed from the ground. Quick glance translucent coolant and washer reservoirs make checking and filling a snap. The air filter is also easy to access and easy to change. No tools required
Industry Leading Cooling System
The MP Engine Series utilises an industry leading cooling system with radiator recirculation shields that direct air through the radiator to efficiently cool the engine.
In addition an optimised fan ring (utilised to improve engine cooling) is mounted to the engine so that it moves with the engine torque, improving performance. Finally a massive radiator which well exceeds the engine’s cooling requirements is fitted, ensuring cooler running, greater reliability and longer engine life.
